UPSSSC JE Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 134 Junior Engineer / Avar Abhiyanta Posts

The Uttar Pradesh Adhinasth Seva Chayan Aayog (UPSSSC), Lucknow has released the notification for the Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Mukhya Pariksha 2026 - the Main Exam for the Junior Engineer (Agriculture) post - under Advertisement No. 19-Pariksha/2026. The exam is being held to fill 134 posts of Avar Abhiyanta (Junior Engineer) under the Directorate of Agriculture, Uttar Pradesh.

A High School certificate from the UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government; and | A three-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Prāvidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government and approved by AICTE.

As per Rule-10 of the UP Krishi Vibhag Avar Abhiyanta Seva Niyamawali, 2015 (Part-4), a candidate must have attained 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 40 years of age as on 1 July of the calendar year in which the vacancies are advertised for direct recruitment. Age relaxation is admissible to SC, ST, and other government-notified categories as per prevailing rules. Government servants in UP state service get a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit as per the applicable government order. Age is calculated based on the date of birth recorded in the High School or equivalent certificate; no other document is accepted for date of birth verification. The Avar Abhiyanta (Junior Engineer) post carries Pay Level-6 in the pay matrix, with a pay band of ₹9,300 (minimum) to ₹34,800 (maximum) and Grade Pay of ₹4,200. 1. Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET-2025) - already conducted; used only as a shortlisting tool for this Main Exam.
2. Shortlisting for the Main Exam based on category-wise normalized PET-2025 score, up to 15 times the number of advertised posts.
3. Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Mukhya Pariksha (Main Exam) - a single written objective-type paper of 100 questions and 100 marks, to be completed in 2 hours (120 minutes).
4. Final selection is based on merit in the written Main Exam, as approved by the Uttar Pradesh Government (Karmik Anubhag-3) exam scheme dated 30 June 2026.
