UPSC Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 450 Drug Inspector, Assistant Engineer and More Posts

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released Advertisement No. 07/2026 on 25 June 2026, inviting online recruitment applications for 54 posts spread across multiple central government ministries and departments. The vacancies include positions such as Drug Inspector (186 posts), Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor across various medical specialities, Aeronautical Officer (11), Legal Officer (12), Company Prosecutor (18), and several others. Eligible candidates can apply online from 25 June 2026 up to 17 July 2026 at 6:00 PM through UPSC's official portal at upsconline.nic.in. The application fee is ₹25 for General/OBC/EWS male candidates; women, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are fully exempted.

OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation over UR upper age limit. | SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation over UR upper age limit. | PwBD (UR): 10 years; PwBD (OBC): 13 years; PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years. Maximum age cap: 56 years. | Ex-Servicemen: 5 years relaxation, subject to the condition that continuous service rendered is not less than 6 months after attestation as on the closing date. | Central/UT Government Servants: Up to 5 years, subject to 3 years continuous regular service in the same line or allied cadre.
