UP Anganwadi Worker Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 250 Posts

1. A widow, legally divorced, or deserted woman belonging to a family living below the poverty line (BPL), resident of the same gram sabha/ward (urban areas).
2. If such a candidate is not available, any other woman from a BPL family in the same gram sabha/ward.
3. If no candidate is found under the above categories, a widow/divorced/deserted woman from a family living above the poverty line, in the same order of priority.
4. If still not found, women from families living above the poverty line.
5. If no eligible candidate is available in the gram sabha under any of the above categories, selection will be made category-wise from the concerned Nyay Panchayat.
6. Applications for a post reserved for a specific category will be accepted only from candidates belonging to that category.
7. Posts under the unreserved category are open to candidates of any caste.
