UP Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 708 Anganwadi Worker & Helper Posts in Agra District

The Office of the District Program Officer, Agra has released the Agra Anganwadi Bharti 2026 notification for 386 Anganwadi Karyakartri and 322 Anganwadi Sahayika vacant posts across urban and rural project areas of Agra district. Only female candidates aged 18 to 35 years (as on 01 January 2026) can apply online at upaganwadibharti.in from now until 20 July 2026 (midnight). Selection is merit-based with no written exam or interview.

Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the Agra Anganwadi Karyakartri and Sahayika Recruitment 2026. Applicants must be a permanent resident of the ward (urban)/gram sabha where the vacant post is located, and they must meet the prescribed age and educational qualification. Educational Qualification The minimum educational qualification for both Anganwadi Karyakartri and Sahayika posts is Intermediate or equivalent . Merit will be prepared based on qualification ranging from minimum Intermediate to maximum Postgraduate, and no written exam or interview will be conducted. Age Limit Candidates applying for the Agra Anganwadi Vacancy 2026 must be at least 18 years old and not more than 35 years old as on 01 January 2026 . Age will be verified based on the date of birth mentioned in the High School marksheet and certificate, and no age relaxation is available to any category — SC, ST, OBC, or General. Local Residency Requirement The applicant must be a permanent (Sthai) resident of the ward (in urban areas) or gram sabha (in rural areas) where the vacant post is advertised.
