Only women candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri. | The candidate must be a resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward for which the post is advertised. If no eligible candidate is available from that Gram Sabha, candidates who are permanent residents of the concerned Nyaya Panchayat may be considered. | For posts in urban areas, the candidate must clearly mention the relevant ward number/name in the online residence certificate at the time of application. | Preference will be given to widows/legally divorced/separated women from families living below the poverty line (BPL). | If no BPL widow/divorced/separated woman is available from that Gram Sabha/Ward, then a widow/separated/divorced woman above the poverty line from the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be given preference in selection. | If no such candidate is available as per the above priority order, selection will proceed based on merit as per educational qualification, following the provisions of the applicable government order. | Two women from the same family will not be appointed as Anganwadi Karyakartri and Sahayika (helper) at the same Anganwadi Centre.

The Office of the District Programme Officer (Bal Vikas evam Pushtahar / Child Development & Nutrition), Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, has issued Notification No. C-679/Zi.Ka.Adhi/Ba.Vi.Pari/Vigyapti/2026-27 dated 3 September 2026, inviting online applications for direct recruitment to 105 posts of Anganwadi Karyakartri (Anganwadi Worker) on honorarium basis, across seven Child Development Project areas in the Amroha district.

Age limit in full
As on 01.07.2026, the applicant's age should be between a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years. Selection process
- Selection is made through a merit list prepared based on the educational qualification of eligible candidates from the concerned Gram Sabha/Ward/Nyaya Panchayat.
- Priority in selection is given first to BPL widow/divorced/separated women, then to above-poverty-line widow/divorced/separated women from the same area, and thereafter to other eligible candidates based on educational merit, as per the provisions of Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 dated 17 September 2025.
- If any information, data, or educational records provided in the application are found to be incorrect or fabricated, the candidature will be rejected, with the applicant solely responsible for such errors.
- The entire process of application and selection will be conducted as per the provisions of the above-mentioned Government Order.
