UKPSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 25 Posts

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released the UKPSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026 notification (Advertisement No. A-2/DR(VO)/S-1/2026) for the post of Veterinary Officer under the Animal Husbandry Department. A total of 25 vacancies are available, and online applications are open from 25 August 2026 to 14 September 2026. A Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.) from a university established by law and recognized by the Veterinary Council of India, OR an equivalent degree from a government-recognized institution, OR any other veterinary qualification as defined under Section 2(f) of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (as amended). | The candidate must be duly registered with the Uttarakhand Veterinary Council. | The date for determining the essential educational qualification will be based solely on the Marksheet Issuing Date or the Result Declaration Date. | A postgraduate degree, diploma, or higher qualification in Veterinary Science (e.g., M.V.Sc in Surgery, Gynecology, Medicine, Pathology, Public Health, etc.), OR | Minimum two years of service in the Territorial Army, OR | 'B' or 'C' certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). | A citizen of India, OR | A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, OR | A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or certain East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (subject to an eligibility certificate).
