Candidates who wish to apply for Tumakuru Pourakarmika Recruitment 2026 must carefully check the eligibility criteria regarding nationality, age limit, service conditions and language before submitting the application form at the respective Urban Local Body (ULB) offices. | Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen to be eligible for Tumakuru Pourakarmika Recruitment 2026 in Tumakuru City Corporation, Tiptur City Municipal Council and Sira City Municipal Council. | Age Limit: As per the public notification, candidates must have completed a minimum age of 18 years and should not have crossed a maximum age of 50 years as on the date of publication of the Tumakuru Pourakarmika notification. The date of birth recorded in Aadhaar card, voter ID, ESI/PF records or other accepted documents will be considered for verifying age. | Experience as Pourakarmika / Sanitation Worker: Applicants must be currently working in the concerned local body on outsourced, daily wage or contract basis for at least one year as Pourakarmika, loader, UGD helper, cleaner, helper, waste processing unit worker, public toilet sanitation worker or zero‑waste management unit sanitation worker with ESI and PF benefits to be eligible for Tumakuru Pourakarmika Recruitment 2026. | Family members of deceased Pourakarmikas: Candidates who are family members of Pourakarmikas that died while working on outsourced/daily wage/contract basis due to Covid‑19 or other reasons in the concerned ULB may also be considered eligible for Tumakuru Pourakarmika posts, subject to production of proper proof and certification from the competent authority. | Manual Scavenger Victims: Persons identified as victims under the Manual Scavengers Act or their family members, duly certified by the competent authority, are also eligible to apply for Pourakarmika posts under this Tumakuru Recruitment 2026 drive. | Knowledge of Kannada: Candidates must have the ability to speak Kannada and basic knowledge of Kannada language for effective discharge of duties as Pourakarmika in Tumakuru district urban local bodies. A self‑declaration regarding knowledge of Kannada has to be enclosed with the application form. | Clean Service Record: Applicants should not be involved in any criminal case and should not have been dismissed or removed from service due to disciplinary action in any previous employment. Candidates must meet all conduct and character requirements as laid down in the Tumakuru Pourakarmika notification 2026.

Pay and allowances

Candidates selected through the Tumakuru Pourakarmika Recruitment 2026 will be appointed as Pourakarmikas under the direct payment system in Tumakuru City Corporation, Tiptur City Municipal Council and Sira City Municipal Council. | Salary under Direct Payment System: Selected Pourakarmikas will receive monthly wages directly from the concerned Urban Local Body as per the Government of Karnataka norms and prevailing minimum wage rates for civic sanitation workers. Detailed pay and allowances will be governed by applicable government orders and Poura Seva Vrunda & Recruitment Rules. | Service Benefits: As direct payment Pourakarmikas, workers will continue to be covered under ESI and PF and other welfare schemes notified by the State Government for civic workers from time to time. However, this recruitment does not automatically grant them regular government employee status unless specifically regularised by separate government orders.
