Tripura University Guest Faculty Notification 2026 has been released on 18 August 2026 on the official website https://www.tripurauniv.ac.in. A total of 95 Guest Faculty vacancies have been announced across 31 departments and schools through the Tripura University Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026.

Candidates must fulfil the minimum qualifications and eligibility criteria as prescribed under the UGC Regulations, 2018. | Applicable norms/guidelines issued by UGC, AICTE, NCTE, and the Ministry of Education (MoE), wherever applicable, as amended from time to time, will also apply. | Department-specific desirable qualifications (such as NET, Ph.D, or specific technical skills) are mentioned against certain departments in the vacancy table above. | Superannuated (retired) teachers may also be considered for Guest Faculty assignment, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years. | Applicants must be Indian citizens.

Guest Faculty selected under this recruitment will be paid on a per-lecture basis, as detailed below: Particulars Amount Honorarium per Lecture Rs. 1,500 Maximum Honorarium per Month Rs. 50,000 The Guest Faculty honorarium is subject to a maximum monthly ceiling of Rs. 50,000, irrespective of the number of lectures delivered beyond that limit.

1. Screening of Applications: Applications received will be screened, and a list of shortlisted candidates as well as candidates found not eligible will be uploaded on the official website of Tripura University.
2. Academic Score Evaluation: Screening is supported by an Academic Score sheet (part of the application form) that assigns marks for Graduation, Post-Graduation, M.Phil, Ph.D, NET/SLET, research publications, teaching/post-doctoral experience, and awards, out of a maximum overall score of 100.
3. Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates will be required to attend a walk-in interview, tentatively starting from 31 August 2026, along with original documents, the duly filled Application Form, Curriculum Vitae, and self-attested photocopies of required documents.
