Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has released the official Research Investigator Notification 2026 on 12 June 2026 at the official website. A total of 21 vacancies have been announced under the TISS Research Investigator Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates with the qualifications prescribed for Research Investigator, Research Assistant, Research Officer, and Secretariate-cum-Accountant posts can apply online from 12 June 2026 to 22 June 2026. Research Investigator (RI): Graduate in any discipline with experience of data collection in remote tribal areas (BSW will be given preference). Fluency in Marathi and English. Willing to travel and stay in tribal remote areas. | Research Assistant (RA): Post-Graduate in any discipline with experience of data collection and monitoring fieldwork in remote tribal areas (MSW will be given preference). Fluency in Marathi and English. Willing to travel in tribal remote areas, coordinating data collection and dealing with multiple stakeholders in the field. | Research Officer (RO): PhD in Social Work or in Social Sciences with special focus on education, experience of working in field of tribal education, having published research papers in the domain of education. Candidates who are about to submit their PhD or waiting for PhD viva are eligible to apply. Masters in Social Work with focus on Tribal issues and with good academic writing skills, experience in coordination of field work, willing to travel extensively in tribal areas. Fluency in Marathi and English, sensitive to tribal issues and willing to commit to tribal developmental issues. | Secretariate-cum-Accountant: Graduate in any discipline with desirable knowledge of accounts. Willing to engage in all kinds of secretarial work. Working knowledge of statistical software and other digital skills.
