Local women from the same gram sabha/ward (gram panchayat/ward area) who belong to BPL families - widows, legally divorced, or abandoned women - given first priority. | If no such candidates are available from the above category, other women from BPL families of the same gram panchayat/ward area are given priority. | If the above categories are exhausted, women from APL families (above poverty line) of the same gram panchayat/ward area - widows, divorced, or abandoned - are considered. | If no candidates from the above categories are available, other women from APL families of the same gram panchayat/ward area are considered.
