SVIMS Tirupati Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026: 236 Vacancies, Eligibility, Apply Online

The Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati, has invited online applications for the post of Staff Nurse through direct recruitment. The recruitment is issued vide Notification No. 01/Nursing/2026/Estt. dated 13.07.2026, offering a total of 236 vacancies (24 backlog + 212 regular). Route 1: B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university, and registration with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Council. | Route 2: Intermediate examination or an equivalent qualification, and a General Nursing Course of three years' duration plus Midwifery training of six months' duration from an institution recognized by the Nursing Council of India, plus three years of experience in a Medical College/tertiary care hospital, and registration with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Council.

1. If total applications received for the post are less than 10, selection is based on weightage of marks in the qualifying examination, experience, and interview. If applications exceed 10, a computer-based online test is conducted.
2. Minimum qualifying marks in the CBT: 40% for OC & EWS, 35% for BC, and 30% for SC, ST & PwBD categories.
3. The question paper for the CBT will be in English.
4. Where two or more candidates score equal marks, the elder candidate (by age) is given preference; in case of a further tie, the candidate with more experience is preferred.
5. A waitlist is maintained for a period of one year in case a provisionally selected candidate does not join.
6. Selection is provisional and subject to verification of original certificates, community/local status, experience, antecedents, and medical fitness.
7. Candidates must not be in a bigamous marriage and must not have been convicted by any court of law to be eligible.
