SSC JSA LDC DoPT LDCE Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 49 Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) / Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Posts

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC JSA LDC LDCE 2025 notification (No. 4/7/2026-CONF-5, dated 25 June 2026) for 49 tentative vacancies of Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) / Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Grade in the Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) Cadre of the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT). This is a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) open only to eligible permanent or regularly appointed temporary Group 'C' employees with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 who have rendered at least 3 years of regular service as on the crucial date of 1 August 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online from 25 June 2026 to 16 July 2026 (11:00 PM) at ssc.gov.in. The Computer Based Test is tentatively scheduled in August 2026 and will be held in Delhi-NCR only. The post carries Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200), Group 'C' Non-Gazetted.

Must be a permanent or regularly appointed temporary Group 'C' employee with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800. | Must have rendered not less than 3 years of regular service as a Group 'C' employee with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 as on the crucial date of 1 August 2025 . | A Group 'C' employee on deputation to an ex-cadre post with approval of competent authority is also eligible, if otherwise eligible. | A Group 'C' employee appointed to an ex-cadre post or another service on transfer who continues to have a lien in the Group 'C' post is also eligible, if otherwise eligible. | The parent Service/Cadre of the candidate must be a participating Service/Cadre of this examination. | Must have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognized Board or equivalent.
