SSC GD Constable 2026 (General Duty Constable in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles)

Recruitment for Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles. The application window is open until December 31, 2025.

Candidates must be Indian citizens and should have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognised board by January 1, 2026. Candidates must also meet the required PST and PET physical standards to qualify for final selection. Candidates who have completed their education through distance learning or correspondence from a recognised institution are generally eligible. Candidates from any state or Union Territory of India can apply, provided they meet all eligibility criteria, including nationality, age, education, and domicile requirements. However, outside their native state of application, they will be treated as Un-Reserved category candidates, whose eligibility they must meet before applying for the exam. Government employees applying for SSC GD must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and meet age eligibility with applicable relaxations, and fulfill all educational, physical, and medical requirements.
