SMC Apprentices Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 1000 Posts

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the provisions of this notification. Mandatory registration and eKYC update on the NAPS portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) must be completed before applying on the SMC website. Candidates must apply only through the SMC official website after completing NAPS registration. | Criteria Details Nationality Indian Citizen NAPS Portal Registration (Mandatory) Every candidate must first register as an Apprentice on https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and mandatorily update eKYC in the Apprentice Profile before applying on the SMC website. Educational Qualification ITI Trade Pass (for trades 1–9) OR relevant graduation/degree as specified trade-wise (for trades 10–14). Refer vacancy table for trade-specific qualification details. Prior Apprenticeship Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship in any trade are NOT eligible — online contract generation will not be possible for such candidates. Multiple Trade Applications Candidates possessing the required qualification for more than one trade may apply for multiple trades.

Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years and must not exceed 34 years of age.
