SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 9124 Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) Posts

The State Bank of India (SBI), Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, Corporate Centre, Mumbai, has released the notification for SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2026, inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. The recruitment is published under Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17, and covers 7,680 regular vacancies plus 1,444 backlog vacancies across 24 States/UTs.

Educational Qualification (As on 31.12.2026) Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University, or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2026. Candidates in their final year/semester of graduation may also apply provisionally, subject to producing proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2026. Matriculate Ex-servicemen who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education, or the corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after completing not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union, are also eligible. Such certificates should be dated on or before 31.12.2026. Age Limit (As on 01.04.2026) Not below 20 years and not above 28 years - i.e., candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive). Candidates seeking age relaxation must submit copies of the necessary certificates at the time of joining; no change in category is permitted after registration of the online application, and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Also Read: Candidates who are working in SBI in the Clerical cadre are not eligible to apply under this project, and candidates who were earlier employed in State Bank of India and resigned while in the clerical cadre are also not eligible. Candidates against whom there is an adverse report regarding character, antecedents, or moral turpitude are also not eligible to apply for the post. The pay scale for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) is Rs. 24,050-1340/3-28,070-1650/3-33,020-2000/4-41,020-2340/7-57,400-4400/1-61,800-2680/1-64,480. The starting Basic Pay is Rs. 26,730 (Rs. 24,050 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee posted at a Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs. 46,000 per month, inclusive of Dearness Allowance, other allowances at the current rate, and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate Junior Associates. Allowances may vary depending on the place of posting. Selected candidates will be eligible for reimbursement of various perquisites, provident fund, pension under the New Pension Scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), medical, leave-fare, and other facilities as per Bank instructions issued from time to time.
