Samagra Shiksha DNH & DD Recruitment 2026 – Walk in for 74 Pre-School Teacher & Caretaker/Helper Posts

The Directorate of Education, U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, under Samagra Shiksha (a Centrally Sponsored Scheme), has released Advertisement No. DNH-DD/DOE/SS/ECCE/RECRUITMENT/2026-27/3427 dated 9 September 2026, inviting eligible candidates for engagement as Pre-School Teacher and Caretaker/Helper (Female) purely on a Short Term Contract (STC) basis through Walk-in Interview.

Pre-School Teacher Qualification Senior Secondary (Class XII or its equivalent) from a recognized board with at least 45% marks, in accordance with NCTE Regulations 2002, AND a Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed.) of not less than one year, or B.Ed. (Nursery) from an NCTE recognized institution. OR Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002. OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Candidates holding a Diploma in Elementary Education or B.El.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution may also be considered for appointment as Pre-school Teacher, provided they mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School/Early Childhood Education Programme recognized by NCTE, within two years of such appointment. Caretaker/Helper (Female) Qualification Secondary (Class X or its equivalent) from a recognized board with at least 45% marks.

For both posts, the age limit is not exceeding 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxable as per Orders/Guidelines issued by the Central Government from time to time. The notification does not specify the exact reference date for age calculation.

Post Fixed Remuneration per Month Pre-School Teacher ₹10,000/- Caretaker/Helper (Female) ₹5,000/- No TA/DA shall be payable to any candidate for attending the Walk-in Interview.
