SAIL RSP IGH Trainee Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 112 Medical Attendant, Hospital Administration & OT/Anesthesia Training Posts

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has invited online applications through its Ispat General Hospital (IGH), Rourkela for stipend-based Training Programmes for Employability and Skill Enhancement, vide Ref. No. HR-T&M/2498 dated 31 August 2026. This SAIL RSP IGH Trainee Recruitment 2026 notification covers three training categories - Medical Attendant Training, Hospital Administration Training, and OT/Anesthesia Assistant Training - with a total of 112 seats. Applications open on 5 September 2026 and close on 20 September 2026.

Applications are invited only from eligible underprivileged candidates who are residents of Sundargarh District and other Districts of Odisha State. Preference is given to candidates from the direct impact zones of RSP, namely Bisra Block, Kuarmunda Block, Nuagaon Block, and Lathikata Block of Sundargarh District, Rourkela Municipality, Rourkela Industrial Township area, Resettlement Colonies of RSP, and model steel villages of RSP in Odisha. Candidates who have previously undergone a similar training programme at IGH are not eligible for a second tenure. Training Programme Required Qualification Medical Attendant Training Minimum Matric (10th) or equivalent Hospital Administration Training Passed MBA/BBA/PG Diploma in Hospital Management, Hospital Administration, HR, Marketing, or Finance (minimum 2-year duration for MBA, 3-year duration for BBA, 2-year duration for PG Diploma) from any recognized institute. Preference is given to candidates holding an MBA/BBA/PG Diploma specifically in Hospital Management/Hospital Administration. OT/Anesthesia Assistant Training Passed Intermediate (10+2) Examination from a recognized Council, and completed 1 year of Hospital Attendant/Anesthesia Attendant Training programme from a reputed institute/hospital SAIL RSP IGH Trainee Age Limit The age limit is common across all three training programmes and is calculated as on the date of issue of the advertisement. Since this is a training programme and not a regular job, selected candidates receive a monthly stipend during the one-year training period rather than a salary. The stipend amount varies by training programme, as detailed below. Training Programme Monthly Stipend Medical Attendant Training Rs. 7,000/- (Rupees Seven Thousand only) Hospital Administration Training Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) OT/Anesthesia Assistant Training Rs. 9,000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand only) The training period is one year, subject to the candidate clearing medical fitness as per Company rules.
