RRB Isolated Categories Recruitment 2026 (CEN 08/2025)

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released an employment notification (CEN No. 08/2025) for the recruitment of 311 various Isolated Categories posts within the Indian Railways. The online application process started on December 30, 2025, and will close on January 29, 2026. Candidates must complete their fee payments by January 31, 2026. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Skill/Translation Test (for specific roles), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Detailed posts and their eligibility criteria are as follows: - **Senior Publicity Inspector**: Age Limit: 18-33 years (as on 01-01-2026). - **Lab Assistant Gr. III**: Age Limit: 18-30 years (as on 01-01-2026). Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry, plus a Diploma or Certificate in Lab Technology. - **Chief Law Assistant**: Age Limit: 18-40 years (as on 01-01-2026). Educational Qualification: A degree in Law with at least three years of standing practice as a pleader. Serving Railway employees who are Law Graduates are also eligible. - **Junior Translator (Hindi)**: Age Limit: 18-33 years (as on 01-01-2026). Educational Qualification: Master's degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level. This post has the highest number of vacancies within the Isolated Categories. - **Staff and Welfare Inspector**: Age Limit: 18-33 years (as on 01-01-2026). Educational Qualification: Graduation followed by a Diploma or MBA in Labour Laws or HR. - **Public Prosecutor**: Age Limit: 18-32 years (as on 01-01-2026). Educational Qualification: Graduate with Bachelor degree in Law from recognized University and with five year standing as an advocate at Bar. - **Scientific Assistant (Training)**: Age Limit: 18-35 years (as on 01-01-2026). Educational Qualification: Second Class Masters Degree in Psychology; One year experience in Administration of Psychological tests. - **Scientific Supervisor/Ergonomics and Training**: Age Limit: 18-35 years (as on 01-01-2026).

Eligibility criteria vary by post. Candidates must possess post-wise qualifications such as a Post Graduate degree in Hindi/English for Junior Translator, Graduation with a diploma in social work/labour welfare for Staff & Welfare Inspector, a Law Degree for Public Prosecutor/Chief Law Assistant, or 10+2 with Science for Lab Assistant Grade III.
