Nationality conditions apply – the post is open to citizens of India and certain other categories as specified in the notification, subject to eligibility certificate from the Government of India where required. | The educational qualification must be from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature, or an institution declared Deemed University under UGC Act, 1956, or an equivalent foreign university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. | Educational Qualification | Post Minimum Educational Qualifications (as on April 01, 2026) Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) – General Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD if posts reserved for them) OR Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD if posts reserved for them) in aggregate of all semesters/years. Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) – DEPR Essential: MA/MSc in Economics or related Economics/Finance disciplines with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD if posts reserved) from a recognized Indian or Foreign University. Desirable: Doctorate in Economics, or research/teaching experience, or publication in standard journals. Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) – DSIM Essential: Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks in Statistics/Mathematics/Data Science/AI/ML or related fields OR Four-year Bachelor's Degree with minimum 60% marks in the above fields (50% for SC/ST/PwBD if posts reserved). Desirable: Doctorate in related subjects; research/teaching experience and publications.

Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on April 01, 2026 (born not earlier than April 02, 1996 and not later than April 01, 2005).
