Rajasthan Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - Apply Offline for Anganwadi Worker & Helper Posts in Alwar District

The Office of the Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department (ICDS), Alwar has invited offline applications for vacant Anganwadi Karyakarta (Worker) and Sahayika (Helper) posts under Notice No. 01/2026-27, dated June 27, 2026. These are honorary/voluntary remuneration positions (स्वैच्छिक मानदेय सेवा), filled locally without a written examination, across 10 Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) projects in Alwar district.

Local Residency Requirement The applicant must be a local resident of the specific revenue village (in rural areas) or ward (in urban areas) that falls within the catchment area of the Anganwadi center for which she is applying. A widowed or divorced woman may be considered a local resident based on either her parental or marital residence, whichever applies. Who Can Apply Both married women and women with special eligibility status (such as those belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, widowed, divorced, or other specified special categories) are eligible to apply for Anganwadi Karyakarta and Sahayika posts. Educational Qualification The applicant must have passed Class 12 (12th standard) as the minimum educational qualification. Age Limit The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years. Age relaxation provisions, where applicable based on prior recognized Anganwadi-related service, are subject to departmental rules. Category-Based Selection Preference In Anganwadi center catchment areas where Scheduled Caste, minority, or Scheduled Tribe population constitutes 50% or more of the local population, preference in selection will be given to a woman belonging to that category. In other areas, selection will generally be based on the Anganwadi center's registered population base.
