OSSTET 2026 Notification Out – Apply Online, Eligibility, Fee & Exam Pattern

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE Odisha), commonly known as BSE Odisha, has released Notification No. 2198/Conf-I dated 1 August 2026 inviting online applications for the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2026. Passing OSSTET is a mandatory eligibility requirement for appointment as a teacher in Secondary Schools (Government/Government-Aided/Recognised Unaided) in Odisha. Online applications are open from 3 August 2026 to 17 August 2026, and the test will be held on 30 September 2026.

Passed HSC (or equivalent) examination with Odia as First/Second/Third Language subject, from BSE Odisha or an equivalent State/Central Board | Passed +2/Higher Secondary examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, with Odia as an examinable subject | Passed the Odia Examination of the HSC/10th Standard Single Subject Examination conducted by BSE Odisha
