OPSC AEE Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 46 Assistant Executive Engineer Posts

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), commonly known as OPSC, has released Advertisement No. 07 of 2026-27 (Notice No. 4430/PSC, dated 4 August 2026) for recruitment to 46 posts of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) in Group-A of the Odisha Municipal Engineering Service Cadre under the Housing & Urban Development Department. Online applications can be submitted from 11 August 2026 to 11 September 2026 (5:00 PM), and the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for 8 November 2026.

Must be a citizen of India. | Must be of good moral character and good mental condition and bodily health, free from physical defects or bodily infirmity that could impair the discharge of duties (the "good mental condition" clause does not apply to Persons with Disabilities). | A candidate with more than one living spouse is not eligible unless the State Government exempts the case for good and sufficient reasons. | Government servants, temporary or permanent, may apply if they meet the qualification and age criteria; they must inform their Head of Office in writing and furnish a No Objection Certificate at the time of document verification. | Candidates debarred by OPSC, other State Public Service Commissions, or UPSC for a specified period are not eligible to apply during that period. | Every candidate selected for appointment will be examined by a Medical Board; failing to qualify the Medical Board makes a candidate ineligible for appointment.

The post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) carries the scale of pay in Level-12 of the pay matrix provided under Rule-3 of the ORSP Rules-2017, corresponding to the pre-revised scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15,600 – Rs. 39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400, along with usual dearness allowance and other allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
