National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) Technician Grade A Notification 2026 has been released on the official website niot.res.in. A total of 1 vacancy has been announced through the NIOT Technician Grade A Recruitment 2026.

10th Class Pass (Secondary / Matric) from a recognized Board | ITI course in Electronics / Instrumentation approved by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or equivalent from a recognized institution | Basic knowledge of computers

Selected candidates will be placed at Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900–63,200) in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (VII CPC), under Group 'C', along with allowances as admissible under VII CPC.

1. Trade / Written Test: Final selection is based purely on the order of merit in the trade/written test marks, among candidates who qualify the skill test.
2. Skill Test: A practical test of qualifying nature. Candidates must secure the minimum cut-off mark fixed by the Selection Committee to qualify.
