National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has released the official Consultant - ED Secretariat Notification 2026. A total of 1 vacancy has been announced under the NHSRC Consultant - ED Secretariat Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates up to 45 years of age with an MBBS and MD in Community Medicine/PSM or MBBS/BDS with MPH and 2 years of post-qualification experience can apply online up to 22 September 2026. Only full-time regular bachelor's degrees (minimum 3 years) and full-time regular postgraduate qualifications (minimum 2 years) are considered. Diploma, certificate, executive programmes, and qualifications obtained through distance, online, part-time, or correspondence mode are not considered. Only post-qualification experience is counted. Post Name Qualification Consultant - ED Secretariat MBBS with full-time PG in MD (Community Medicine/ PSM); or MBBS/ BDS with full-time PG in MPH Senior Consultant - ED Secretariat MBBS with full-time PG in MD (Community Medicine/ PSM); or MBBS/ BDS with full-time PG in MPH Consultant (Legal) - ED Secretariat Master's degree in Law (LL.M.), regular course Lead Consultant - IT Division B.E./ B.Tech (CS/ IT)/ BCA/ B.Sc.(IT) along with M.Tech (CS/ IT)/ MCA/ M.Sc.(CS)/ MBA or equivalent Advisor - Public Health Administration MBBS with PG degree (MD in PSM/ CHA etc.) / MS / MPH / PhD Desirable qualification for the Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Legal Consultant posts includes contributions to published articles, documents, reports, chapters, or monographs. The Advisor post also lists published work in health systems or public health as desirable.

In addition to remuneration, NHSRC Consultants are entitled to free accidental insurance, subsidized medical insurance, mobile bill reimbursement, laptop reimbursement (as per NHSRC policy), 30 days consolidated leave, fully paid maternity leave for female consultants (as per Government of India policy), performance-linked increments, and TA/ DA plus per diem for on-duty visits.
