NEHU Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 29 Posts

North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong has released the Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026 notification for eligible candidates. The recruitment is being conducted for Guest Faculty positions under the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the Academic Session 2026-27. Interested candidates can apply online through the official NEHU website. The last date for submission of the online application form is 07 September 2026.

Postgraduate degree in concerned/relevant subject with 55% marks or equivalent grade. | B.Ed./M.Ed. with 55% marks or equivalent grade. | NET/SLET/SET in Education or concerned subject, or Ph.D. in Education or concerned subject as applicable.

Selected Guest Faculty members will receive remuneration based on the lecture rate mentioned in the notification. Post Name Remuneration Guest Faculty Rs. 1,500 per lecture (Maximum Rs. 50,000 per month) The Guest Faculty posts are purely temporary and remuneration will be paid at the rate of Rs. 1,500 per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 per month.
