NCL Recruitment 2026: Mining Sirdar & Surveyor Posts, Apply Online from 14 July

Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released an Employment Notification (Ref. NCL/SING/HR/Direct-Recruitment/2026-27/246) dated 10.07.2026 inviting online applications from Indian nationals for the statutory mining posts of Mining Sirdar T&S Gr. C and Surveyor (Mining) T&S Gr. B. These posts are for regular deployment across NCL's Mines/Establishments in Singrauli District (Madhya Pradesh) and Sonebhadra District (Uttar Pradesh). Online registration opens on 14-07-2026 and closes on 05-08-2026.

Candidates must have attained a minimum age of 18 years as on the Crucial Date (05-08-2026), and age must not exceed the upper age limit of 30 years on the Crucial Date, subject to relaxations below. 1. Eligible candidates meeting minimum eligibility criteria as on the Crucial Date must appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT). Selection is based on relative CBT score.
2. Candidates are allowed to appear in the CBT solely on the basis of their declaration of eligibility in the online application form. Scrutiny/verification of eligibility claims is done only after CBT results are declared, and only for candidates who clear the cut-off marks.
3. CBT is conducted separately for each post, carries 100 marks, and is of 90 minutes duration in one sitting.
4. Section A: Technical knowledge (discipline-related), 70 MCQs.
5. Section B: General Knowledge, General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude, 30 MCQs.
6. Each question carries 1 mark; there is no negative marking for wrong answers, and no marks for unattempted questions.
7. The question paper is bilingual (English and Hindi); in case of ambiguity, the English version is valid and final.
8. The CBT will be held at Test Cities as mentioned in the online application form; candidates may opt for their preferred city, which cannot be changed after submission.
