MPESB Agriculture Extension Officer Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 2784 Posts

MPESB Krishi Vistar Adhikari Recruitment 2026 notification has been released by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal, for 2784 Agriculture Extension Officer (Krishi Vistar Adhikari) posts under the Group-2 Sub Group-1 exam. Online applications will be accepted from 3 July 2026 to 17 July 2026 at esb.mp.gov.in, and the computer-based exam begins on 2 August 2026 (Sunday). Candidates who hold a graduate degree in Agriculture or Horticulture and are between 18 and 40 years of age (relaxable up to 45 years for eligible Madhya Pradesh domicile categories) can apply for this direct recruitment in the Directorate of Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development, Madhya Pradesh. The post carries a pay scale of Rs. 25,300 to Rs. 80,500.

The qualification must be fully completed on or before the date of submitting the online application. Candidates acquiring the degree after the application date will not be considered eligible. | The marksheet number, marks obtained and maximum marks of the qualifying degree must be entered in the online form. | The candidate must be a citizen of India (Nepal citizens may be eligible subject to the certificate required under MP Civil Services Recruitment Rules, 1961). | Live registration in an Employment Office of Madhya Pradesh is mandatory for all applicants. | Candidates who are not domiciles of Madhya Pradesh can apply only against Unreserved (Open) posts and will not get any fee concession, reservation or age relaxation. | A candidate having more than two children, where one child is born on or after 26 January 2001, is not eligible for appointment. | Candidates who married before the legal age (18 years for women, 21 years for men) are not eligible for appointment. | Since the post is an Executive (Karyapalik) post, Baiga, Sahariya/Saharia and Bharia special primitive tribe candidates do not get exam exemption; they must apply online and appear in the exam as ST candidates. | Aadhaar registration is mandatory, and the Aadhaar must be unlocked at the time of biometric verification.

1. Online Written Exam (CBT): Objective-type paper of 200 marks conducted by MPESB.
2. Normalization: If the exam is held in multiple shifts, results are prepared using the Normalised Equi-Percentile (NEP) scaling technique.
3. Merit List and Waiting List: MPESB prepares a post-wise merit list; a waiting list of 15% of the total posts remains valid for one year or until the next exam result, whichever is earlier.
4. Document Verification: Certificates are verified by the Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department, not by MPESB.
5. Appointment: Appointment orders are to be issued within a maximum of three months from the date of the selection list.
6. Unreserved (UR): 50% marks
7. SC / ST / OBC / EWS / Divyangjan: 40% marks (after 10% relaxation)
