Qualification

Candidates must be Engineering passouts from the years 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more of experience, are not eligible to apply. Reservation guidelines under the Apprentices Act for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PWD will be followed. Candidates claiming reservation must provide certificates in Government standard format; failing which their claim will be treated as General/UR category. OBC candidates must produce OBC certificate in Govt. prescribed format from the certificate issuing authority of Tahsildar. | Minimum Educational Qualification | Category Qualification Graduate Apprentice Trainee (GAT) A degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a recognized university, OR by an Institution empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament. Passouts of 2023/2024/2025/2026 only. Technician (Diploma) Apprentice Trainee (TAT) A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government, OR by a university in the relevant discipline. Passouts of 2023/2024/2025/2026 only. Age As per Apprenticeship Rules (no specific age limit mentioned in notification). Physical Standards As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992 and amendments thereof.
