Konkan Railway Recruitment 2026 - Apply Offline for 66 Assistant Loco Pilot and Senior Assistant Loco Pilot Posts

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Government of India Undertaking, has released Vacancy Notice No. DE/ALP/01/2026 (File No. CO-13014(12)/7/2018-PERS-Part(1) (33314), dated 22.09.2026), inviting applications from eligible serving Railway employees for filling up 66 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Senior Assistant Loco Pilot (Sr. ALP), on deputation basis, at Crew Lobbies under the jurisdiction of KRCL.

Candidates must be holding the post of ALP/Sr. ALP in the regular cadre of Indian Railway. | Candidates must possess the requisite A1 Medical classification and be medically fit to perform Running Staff duties. | Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from a recognised institution of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Filter / Heat Engine / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman; OR | Matriculation/SSLC plus course-completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above; OR | HSC/12th Std. (10+2) Science pass in regular schooling; OR | 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering, or a combination of these engineering disciplines, from a recognised institution, in lieu of ITI; OR | A Degree in the engineering disciplines mentioned above, in lieu of a Diploma in Engineering.

Not more than 45 years, as on the date of notification (22.09.2026).

1. Eligible, suitable applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of eligibility and experience, if required, as per the Vacancy Notice.
2. The Administrative Office (Zonal Railway/Production Unit/Railway Board, etc.) forwarding the application is required to mention the candidate's APAR gradings for the last five years, along with No Objection, Vigilance, and DAR Clearance.
