Karnataka Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 232 Anganwadi Worker & Helper Posts in Yadgir District

The Office of the Deputy Director, Department of Women and Child Development, Yadgir has released a recruitment notification (Reference No: Uniya/Mamabh/Am.Ka.Ka/Am.Sa.Nemakati/01/2026-27, dated 23 July 2026) inviting online applications for 61 Anganwadi Karyakarte (Worker) and 171 Anganwadi Sahayaki (Helper) posts under the Child Development Scheme across four taluks of Yadgir district. Only women candidates, including women from linguistic minority communities, are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted online between 24 July 2026 and 24 August 2026.

Only women candidates, and women belonging to linguistic minority communities, are eligible to apply. | In areas where a linguistic minority community forms 25% or more of the local population, priority is given to candidates from that minority community's language group for the Karyakarte/Sahayaki post at the Kannada-medium Anganwadi centre in that area. | Candidates must be residents of the specific village/gram panchayat (rural areas) or ward (urban areas) where the Anganwadi centre is located, verified through a residence certificate from a competent authority. | For posts vacant for three years or more, residents of the taluk are also eligible, subject to additional supporting documents (Aadhar card, ration card, voter ID).

General candidates: 19 to 35 years Disabled candidates: age relaxation of 10 years

1. Applications are accepted online only; no offline or postal applications are accepted
2. Applications are scrutinised at the taluk level by a Taluk-Level Application Scrutiny Committee
3. A provisional merit list is prepared based on qualification marks plus applicable bonus marks and published on the notice board
4. Objections/grievances, if any, can be raised within one week of the provisional list; the District-Level Selection Committee reviews objections and finalises the merit list
5. The final selection list is approved by the District-Level Anganwadi Karyakarte/Sahayaki Selection Committee
