JKSSB Class IV MTS Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 2863 MTS, Sanitation Worker Posts

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 09 of 2026, dated 01.09.2026, inviting online applications for 2863 Class-IV (Multi Tasking Staff) and Sanitation Worker posts across UT, Divisional, and District cadres in various departments of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. This JKSSB Recruitment 2026 drive covers posts under General Administration Department indents received for Agriculture Production, Animal/Sheep Husbandry, ARI & Trainings, Culture, Estates, Floriculture Gardens and Parks, Higher Education, Home, Public Works (R&B), and Transport departments.

Candidates must be Domicile holders of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir with a valid Domicile Certificate issued on or before the cut-off date. | Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification for the post/cadre applied for, verified at the Document Verification stage.

Selected candidates for both Class-IV (MTS) and Sanitation Worker posts will be placed in Pay Level SL1, carrying a pay scale of ₹14,800 – ₹47,100, as per Annexure-D of the notification.

1. Written examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions set in English only.
2. Negative marking applies: one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for each wrong answer.
3. Total marks are distributed between the written test and additional weightage points, and the split differs by cadre as shown below.
4. Original and self-attested photocopies of the online application form and all certificates.
5. Domicile Certificate (valid as on the cut-off date).
6. Educational qualification certificates.
7. Category/Reservation certificate in the prescribed format, if applicable.
8. Two recent passport-size colour photographs (not older than 6 months) and a valid photo ID proof.
9. Certificates supporting any weightage claim (no-government-family-member, widow/divorced/orphan status, or casual-worker status), where applicable.
