Hotel Management and Catering Science from Government-recognized Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Government of India/State Government (4) M.B.A (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Government-recognized Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Government of India/State Government Upto 28 years* No experience 28 years to 30 years* 1 year experience 30 years to 35 years* 2 years' experience *35 years for UR. Age relaxation is given to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman applicants as per Government guidelines: upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST applicants, 3 years for OBC applicants, and 10 years for PwBD applicants. For Ex-Servicemen, relaxation is up to the extent of service rendered in defence plus 3 years. IRCTC Tourism Monitors Qualification and Experience Educational Qualification Experience Remuneration 3-Years Bachelor degree in Tourism; OR 3-Years bachelor degree in any stream + 1-year diploma in Travel & Tourism Minimum 1 year working experience in Tour Operation/Travel Agency Firms Rs. 30,000/- per month (incl. statutory deductions) and other allowances as applicable 3-years Bachelor Degree in any stream + 2-years Post Graduation Degree/Diploma in Travel & Tourism Minimum 2 years working experience in Tour Operation/Travel Agency Firms Rs. 35,000/- per month (incl. statutory deductions) and other allowances as applicable Upper age limit as on 01.09.2026 for Tourism Monitors is 35 years for UR. Selection process

  1. Candidates must fill in the application form (attached with the respective notification), completing it in all respects.
  2. The completed application form must be submitted at the venue of the interview for verification, along with original documents, one set of attested copies of requisite documents, and two recent passport-size photographs.
  3. An interview will be conducted, and candidates will be shortlisted based on their credentials and performance in the personal interview.
  4. The offer of engagement will be issued to suitable candidates in order of merit and based on the number of vacancies, subject to verification of antecedents.
  5. In addition to the shortlisted candidates (22 for Hospitality Monitors, including 4 OBC backlog vacancies; 6 for Tourism Monitors), an equal number of candidates will be placed on a Reserve Panel.
