Candidates can apply for the vacancy of only one state and must fulfil the eligibility criteria specified for that state, including the mandatory local language proficiency. Nationality/Citizenship A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of settling permanently, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia) or Vietnam with the intention of settling permanently in India, subject to the required eligibility certificate from the Government of India. The cut-off date for age and educational qualification eligibility is 01.08.2026 (the first day of the month in which online registration commences). Candidates must have been born not later than 01.08.2006 and not earlier than 02.08.1996 (both dates inclusive).
