A total of 11 Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) vacancies have been announced through the India Post Staff Car Driver Recruitment 2026.
Eligibility
Regular Dispatch Riders (Group C) or MTS (Group C) employees within the Department of Posts, in Pay Matrix Level-1 (₹18,000–₹56,900, 7th CPC). | Must hold a valid driving licence for Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles, and competence will be assessed through a driving test. | Possession of a valid driving licence for Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles | Knowledge of motor mechanism (able to remove minor defects in vehicles) | At least three years of experience driving Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles | Pass in the 10th standard from a recognised Board or institute

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation/absorption is 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. The application proforma (Annexure-I) additionally asks candidates to compute their age as on 30.09.2026.
