Ph.D. in the area of Rock Mechanics with 2 QI journal publications as first author and expertise in DEM and physical modeling of jointed rock mass.

Rs. 80,000 (+HRA) per month for two years and a contingency of Rs. 50,000/year

1. Conduct DEM-based numerical modeling to investigate the behavior of foundations placed on orthogonally staggered jointed rock masses and laterally supported excavation walls.
2. Design and construct physical model experiments to evaluate load transfer, deformation, failure mechanisms, and rock-foundation-excavation wall interaction.
3. Analyze and correlate numerical and experimental results, and disseminate the research outcomes through high-quality journal publications and technical reports.
