Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) has published the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Notification 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions under a project-based appointment. Candidates up to 30 years of age as on the last date of application and holding a B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc. (or equivalent) degree in relevant disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA, along with a valid national-level fellowship qualification such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, DBT-BET, INSPIRE Fellowship, or equivalent, are eligible to apply online. (or equivalent) in Physics / Engineering Physics / Applied Physics / Photonics / Photonics Engineering / Optics / Quantum Technology / Biomedical Engineering with 60% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA or equivalent marks AND Qualified in at least one of the following: CSIR-UGC NET (JRF/LS) / GATE / DBT-BET / INSPIRE Fellowship / Any other national-level fellowship (recognized by DST / DBT / UGC / CSIR).
