Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) has released the official Research Associate I Notification 2026 on 01 July 2026 at www.iitgn.ac.in. A total of 01 vacancy has been announced under the IIT Gandhinagar Research Associate I Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates with a Ph.D. in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or equivalent, OR M.E./M.Tech with 3 years of relevant research/teaching/design experience and at least one SCI journal paper can apply online from 01 July 2026 to 10 July 2026. Criteria Details Essential Qualification Ph.D. in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or equivalent OR 3 years research/teaching/design experience after ME/M.Tech with at least one SCI journal paper. Minimum 60% marks at Bachelor’s level. Valid national level test score (GATE/NET etc.) preferred. Desirable Qualification Work experience in the development of healthcare devices. Experience Experience with wearable devices, signal processing, Python, MATLAB, and microcontroller programming.

Rs. 58,000 per month + HRA @ 30% (if not availing Institute accommodation)
