IIP Technical and Non Technical Recruitment 2026 - Apply for Professor, Assistant Professor & Other Contractual Posts at Delhi

Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has released a notification for the recruitment of various technical and non-technical posts on a temporary and contractual basis at IIP Delhi. The notification (Notice No. IIP/Admin/Con-Recruit/2026) is dated 28-07-2026. Eligible candidates can apply on or before 22-08-2026.

Post Name Qualification Professor (Technology) (Emeritus) Retired academician from IIT/NIT/other institution of national/international repute; Ph.D. in Packaging Technology, Printing Technology, Textile Technology, Polymer Technology/Material Science, or allied fields from a recognised university/institution. Preference for those with experience in foreign universities. Professor (Management) Mandatory Ph.D. in Management/Business Administration/Allied Discipline with minimum 10 years teaching/research/industry experience; OR an outstanding professional with an established reputation in a relevant corporate field, substantiated by credentials. Retired Professors from IIM/reputed Management Institutes will be considered. Associate Professor (Management) Ph.D. in Management/Allied Discipline with minimum 8 years teaching/research experience. Preference to candidates from IIT/IIM. Assistant Professor (Management) MBA/MMS/M.Com/relevant Master's Degree, with NET/Ph.D. preferred. Associate Professor (Smart & Intelligent Packaging) Good academic record with a Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline; Master's Degree with first class; minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor, with NET/GATE and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers; minimum API score as per UGC norms. Assistant Professor (AI/ML) Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Smart Manufacturing, Automation, Packaging Technology, or a related interdisciplinary area preferred, with M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning/Computer Science/Data Science/Electronics/Automation/Mechatronics/Packaging Technology or allied disciplines. Assistant Professor (Sustainable Packaging and LCA) Ph.D. in Sustainable Packaging, Circular Economy, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Environmental Sustainability, Packaging Materials, Waste Management, or a related interdisciplinary area. Desirable knowledge of LCA software tools such as SimaPro, GaBi, and OpenLCA. Assistant Professor (Packaging Design) Ph.D. in Packaging Design, Structural Packaging, Industrial Design, Consumer Packaging, Sustainable Packaging Design, or a related interdisciplinary area. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and 3D modelling tools is desirable. Assistant Professor (Printing & Graphic Designs) Essential: Ph.D. in Printing Technology, Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communication, Industrial Design, or a related interdisciplinary area. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and 3D modelling/rendering tools is desirable. Lecturer (Communication Skills) Master's Degree with at least 55% marks in English/Communication Studies/Linguistics/Business Communication/Journalism & Mass Communication or allied disciplines. NET/SLET/SET qualification or a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is desirable. Academic Counselor/Liaison Officer/Placement Officer MBA with specialisation in Marketing or Human Resource Management from a recognised University/Institution. Young Professional (Admin) Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university with proficiency and experience in filing, drafting, typing, documentation, MS Office, and dictation work. Young Professional (Instrumentation) B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry/Instrumentation with experience in GC-MS, FT-IR, CHNS Analyzer. Young Professional (Library) Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognised university. Laboratory Attendant Minimum 12th Pass with Science. Preference given to ITI certificate holders and candidates with 0-2 years of experience in laboratory assistance. Packaging Designer M.Des in Product/Industrial Design from NID/IITs/reputed institutes/CAD with experience in packaging development.
