IHMCL Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 30 Systems Engineer (ITS) Posts via GATE Score

IHMCL Recruitment 2026 has been announced by the Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), an initiative of NHAI, inviting online applications for 30 posts of Systems Engineer (ITS) on a direct recruitment basis. Selection will be made on the basis of valid GATE Score 2025 in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), Electronics and Communications Engineering (EC), or Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) discipline. Online registration opened on 4 July 2026, and the last date to apply is 2 August 2026. Educational Qualification Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a combination of any of the above engineering branches from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates who are in the final year of their Engineering Degree programme and are yet to receive their final results may also apply, provided they fulfil all other eligibility criteria. Such candidates must submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination in the form of a Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate issued by the University/Institute by 31 August 2026, failing which their candidature will be cancelled. Recruitment Criteria Recruitment is by direct recruitment through a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Score in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), Electronics and Communications Engineering (EC), or Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) discipline. Age Limit The age of applicants must not be less than 21 years and not exceeding 30 years as on the last date of receipt of online applications. The crucial date for determining eligibility is the last date prescribed for receipt of online applications. The post of Systems Engineer (ITS) carries an E-2 Grade pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – Rs. 1,60,000 under the IDA pattern. The indicative monthly salary at the starting Basic Pay of ₹50,000 in E-2 IDA Grade would be approximately ₹1,00,000, which includes Dearness Allowance, Cafeteria Allowance, and House Rent Allowance in X Class Cities. This indicative figure excludes statutory deductions such as EPF contribution and Income Tax.

1. Merit is determined on the basis of the valid GATE Score of the year 2025.
2. IHMCL reserves the right to invite candidates for interview as per a cut-off for the respective category, to be decided subsequently by IHMCL.
3. If the number of applications received is large, IHMCL will adopt a shortlisting criterion to restrict the number of candidates called for interaction/interview to a reasonable number, by a method decided by the Selection Committee.
4. For the final merit list, if two or more candidates in the same category have equal scores/marks, the candidate older in age will be placed higher in the merit list.
