A total of 14 vacancies have been announced through the IGNOU Recruitment 2026 for technical positions related to Learning Management System, Networking, Multimedia, Animation, Game Design, VR/AR and Artificial Intelligence.

Educational Qualification The common essential qualification across all posts is B.E/B.Tech (CS/IT), M.Sc (CS/IT), or MCA from a recognized University/Institute with 55% marks or equivalent grade. IGNOU Technical Assistant Eligibility (Experience) At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the specific technical domain (LMS, Networking, Animation, Game Design, VR/AR, or AI) in PSUs, Universities, Educational Institutions, GoI organizations, or reputed IT organizations. IGNOU Technical Manager Eligibility (Experience) At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the corresponding technical domain, in similar organizations as above. IGNOU Assistant Director Eligibility (Experience) At least 10 years of relevant working experience in the corresponding technical domain (LMS or Networking), in similar organizations as above. Desirable certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, Moodle Administrator, Unity Certified Professional, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, and others specific to each specialization) are listed in the official notification and give preference but are not mandatory.
