Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) Recruitment 2026 Notification has been released on 10 August 2026 on the official website www.igims.org . A total of 5 vacancies have been announced through the IGIMS Recruitment 2026 for Assistant Professor/ Senior Consultant, Senior Resident/ Consultant, Clinical Psychologist/ Psychiatric Social Worker/ Psychiatric Nurse, Project Co-ordinator and Data Entry Operator posts.

Eligibility for each post depends on the required educational qualification and, for two posts, prior experience. Details for every post are given below. Post Name Monthly Consolidated Salary Assistant Professor/ Senior Consultant Rs. 1,50,000/ - Senior Resident/ Consultant Rs. 1,00,000/ - Clinical Psychologist/ Psychiatric Social Worker/ Psychiatric Nurse Rs. 50,000/ - Project Co-ordinator Rs. 40,000/ - Data Entry Operator Rs. 25,000/ - As per the notification, no other or additional allowances apart from the consolidated salary mentioned above will be admissible, and appointees will not be entitled to any benefits available to regularly appointed IGIMS, employees.

1. For Assistant Professor/ Senior Consultant and Senior Resident/ Consultant (Sl. No. 1 & 2): Selection will be made through Screening and Interview .
2. For Clinical Psychologist/ Psychiatric Social Worker/ Psychiatric Nurse, Project Co-ordinator, and Data Entry Operator (Sl. No. 3, 4 & 5): Screening will be done, and if necessary, a written test may also be conducted in case a large number of applications are received.
3. Applications will be scrutinized by a Screening Committee, and the final decision regarding appointment rests solely with the competent authority.
4. The list of shortlisted candidates for interview/ test will be published on the IGIMS, official website.
5. No separate communication will be sent regarding the date, time, and venue of the interview/ written test; candidates must keep checking www.igims.org.
