A total of 272 promotion-quota vacancies have been announced through the ICDS Maharashtra Mukhyasevika Recruitment 2026, along with additional posts that may fall vacant before the examination result is declared.

Completed 10 years of continuous, unbroken regular service as an Anganwadi Sevika as on 1 January of the exam year, i.e., as on 01.01.2025. | Hold a degree from a statutory university. | Age not exceeding 50 years as on 01.01.2025 (i.e., born after 01/01/1975), as per the relaxation approved in the Government Decision dated 03.07.2026.

As on 01.01.2025, the candidate's age should not exceed 50 years - i.e., the candidate should be born after 01/01/1975. This revised limit replaces the earlier age cap of 45 years that applied under the recruitment rule 7(1)(क) of the notification dated 04.06.2021, which was set aside by the Nagpur Bench of the High Court in its order dated 08.05.2026.
