ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2026 has been announced for Senior Research Fellow (SRF)! Applications are invited for 1 post of Senior Research Fellow under the ICAR project “Enhancing climate resilience and ensuring food security with genome editing tools” (Project Code 12-197-K). The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project. Eligible candidates with Master’s degree in Nematology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related fields can apply. Criteria Details Essential Qualifications Master’s degree in Nematology/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Plant Pathology/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Botany or relevant life sciences with 4/5 years Bachelor’s degree (or PG with NET/GATE + 2 years research experience) Desirable Qualifications Experience in nematodes, molecular techniques, cloning, genetic transformation (especially rice), genome editing, plant tissue culture Age Limit Maximum 35 years (men), 40 years (women) (relaxation as per GoI/ICAR rules)

5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
6. The decision of the Selection Committee / Joint Director (Research), ICAR-IARI will be final and binding.
