Selection process
- Executive Cadre: Depending on the number of applications, HURL may conduct interviews, screening tests, written tests, trade tests or skill tests as deemed fit, and may revise eligibility criteria or restrict the number of candidates called for a post based on academic marks, years of experience, or additional qualifications.
- FTC Basis (Medical): Selection follows the same discretionary process as Executive Cadre posts, based on qualification and post-qualification experience in a medical institute/industrial establishment.
- Non-Executive Cadre: Selection is through Trade/Skill/Written Test or any other suitable mode determined by HURL.
- Only shortlisted candidates found apparently eligible, based on the notified specifications and their application declaration, will be called for the Written Test/Group Discussion/Interview.
- Appointment of selected candidates is subject to being found medically fit as per HURL Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness for the relevant post.
- Regular Executive and Non-Executive appointees are placed on probation for 1 year, extendable if performance ratings are not satisfactory.
