HPSC Recruitment 2026 has been announced by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) for the initial selection of 26 candidates to undergo pre-induction training at MSHIPA for induction into the Himachal Pradesh Finance & Accounts Service (HPF&AS) as Section Officer. The notification, issued under Advertisement Number 56/7-2026 and dated 09/07/2026, is open only to serving employees of H.P. Government departments, boards, corporations, autonomous bodies, universities, and the co-operative bank who hold a Bachelor’s degree and have completed three years of regular service. H.P. Govt. employees with Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years regular service

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Band Level-13, with a pay scale ranging from Rs. 46,000 to Rs. 1,46,500, in addition to allowances admissible as per H.P. Government rules.

1. 120 objective-type multiple-choice questions, 1 mark each.
2. Duration: 2 hours.
3. Subjects: English & Hindi (40 questions), Omnibus Accounts (40 questions), FRSR & HPFR 2009 (40 questions).
4. Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
5. Candidates qualifying will be shortlisted for the Main Examination in a ratio of 10 times the number of vacancies.
6. Minimum pass marks: 40% in each paper and 45% in aggregate (5% relaxation for reserved categories).
7. Final merit is prepared strictly on the basis of marks obtained, subject to reservation policy.
8. Selected candidates undergo pre-induction training at MSHIPA, followed by HPF&AS Part-I and Part-II examinations.
