First priority: AOCP Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories, AOCP Trade Apprentices from Govt./Private organizations having Govt. affiliation, and candidates already engaged on Tenure Basis as CPW/DBW with a 3-month training certificate (1 month in-house on Safe Handling of explosives/ammunitions/safety norms + 2 months On-Job training) from MIL Group of Factories. | Only if the required number of candidates is not available from these categories will candidates from the other feeder trades be considered for Trade Test. | Candidates having NAC issued by NCVT in the AOCP trade & Feeder trades shall be considered for engagement on Tenure Basis; marks of the NAC mark sheet will be used for preparing the merit list. | Candidates engaged from feeder trades other than AOCP (who don't possess the 3-month training certificate) will be given a compulsory 1-month in-house training followed by 2 months of On-Job training, after which a certificate acceptable across all MIL Group of Factories will be issued. | Candidates belonging to feeder trades other than AOCP will also be engaged as Tenure Based CPW, subject to a consent/undertaking (Appendix-III) from the candidate.

High Explosives Factory (HEF), Khadki, a Unit of Munitions India Ltd. under the Ministry of Defence, has invited applications for engagement of Tenure Based Chemical Process Worker (CPW) Personnel on Contract Basis, for a total of 85 vacancies. This HEF Khadki CPW Recruitment 2026 offers engagement for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of four years, based on factory requirement and individual performance.

Selection process
- Selection is based on marks scored in the NAC (NCVT) mark sheet and Trade Test/Practical Test, in order of merit. HEF may decide the cut-off percentage for calling candidates for the Trade Test based on total marks secured in the NAC issued by NCVT.
- The merit list is prepared based on combined marks in the NAC (NCVT) mark sheet and Trade Test/Practical Test, with a weightage of 80% for NAC (NCVT) Exam and 20% for Trade Test/Practical Test .
- Order of preference while preparing the merit list: First preference: Ex-apprentices of AOCP trade trained in Ordnance Factories under MIL.
- Second preference: AOCP trade apprentices from DoO (C&S) other than MIL Group, and AOCP from Government/Private Organizations having Government affiliation.
- Third preference: Candidates engaged on Tenure Basis as CPW/DBW with the 3-month training certificate from MIL Group of Factories.
- Last preference: Trade apprentices of Ordnance Factories and Government/Private organizations having Government affiliation in the feeder stream trades.
- Candidates qualifying in the NAC (NCVT) and Trade Test/Practical Test will be called for Document Verification in order of merit, limited to the number of posts notified (discipline/category-wise).
- In case of rejection during Document Verification due to non-availability of required documents or not meeting the advertised criteria, additional candidates will be called in order of merit, limited to the number rejected.
- If a candidate in the merit list is found ineligible or fails to report within the stipulated period, a waitlisted candidate from the same category will be considered.
