Discipline Essential Qualification Mining Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering with First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) under the Metalliferous Mines Regulations. The Certificate of Competency is qualifying in nature; post-qualification experience is counted from the date of the Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering. HR Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Commerce/Science/Engineering/Professional Studies (BBA/BCA etc.) with an MBA specialising in Personnel Management, or a Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/Social Work acceptable under Labour Legislation for a Welfare Officer. Preference is given to candidates additionally holding an LLB. Finance Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). Materials & Contracts Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering with a Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Materials Management/Supply Chain Management/Logistics & Supply Chain Management, OR a Bachelor's Degree with an MBA specialising in the same fields. Equivalent qualifications are considered as per Government/UGC/AIU/AICTE guidelines. Where the qualification certificate does not mention the specialisation, or the nomenclature differs from what is prescribed, applicants must submit a Certificate of Specialisation or Certificate of Equivalence from their institute. A "Diploma" for eligibility purposes must be a Post-Graduate level course; if this is not explicitly reflected on the certificate, a Certificate of Equivalence is mandatory.

Pay and allowances
Selected candidates will draw pay as per the IDA scale of the advertised grade, along with Dearness Allowance, perks and allowances, UG Allowance, NPS and PF employer contributions, PRP (as per DPE guidelines), gratuity, medical benefits, and leave encashment as per HCL rules. Selection process
- Candidates are shortlisted for Personal Interview in a ratio of 1:5, subject to a minimum of 10 candidates, or as decided by HCL.
- If applications received exceed the zone of consideration, shortlisting is done by awarding marks: 1 mark for every completed year of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement, and up to 2 marks for additional higher qualification in the relevant discipline.
- In case of a tie, candidates from organisations with higher turnover are ranked higher.
- HCL reserves the right to interview more or fewer candidates than the standard ratio, and to add further shortlisting criteria if required.
