Ex-servicemen: relaxation equal to years of military service (capped as per rules), plus an additional allowance where service exceeded 3 years. Physically disabled candidates, widows, and persons freed from bonded labour: 10 years' relaxation on producing a certificate from the competent authority. Full-time National Cadet Corps instructors: relaxation equal to years served as such an instructor. Village-level workers/surveyors appointed under a state-sponsored rural development scheme: relaxation as applicable per the scheme rules.
