Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hamirpur Patwari Recruitment 2026 notification has been released on 21.07.2026 for the re-engagement of retired Patwaris and Kanungos in Hamirpur District, Himachal Pradesh. The candidate must be a retired Patwari or Kanungo from the Revenue Department of Himachal Pradesh. | Must have rendered a minimum of 5 years of service in any wing of the Revenue Department of HP before superannuation. | Must have no departmental or disciplinary proceeding pending against them. | Age should not exceed 65 years on the date of advertisement of vacancies. | The applicant will need to procure a fitness certificate from a Government Hospital.

Retired Patwaris re-engaged against these posts will be paid a monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- . As per the terms and conditions, they will also be entitled to: One day's casual leave after completing one month of service (no other leave is admissible). TA/DA for official tour duty, at the same rate as applicable to regular counterpart officials at the minimum of the pay scale. Continuation of medical facilities and reimbursement of medical expenses as admissible to them as a retiree. The period of engagement will not be counted for any service benefits earned before superannuation. 1. Eligible retired Patwaris/Kanungos will be considered for the post on the recommendation of a committee constituted vide office order No. DRO/Estt/Re-engagement-8234-39 dated 28/12/2023, headed by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hamirpur.
2. If applications received exceed the number of vacancies advertised, candidates junior in age will be given preference for engagement against such posts.
