GSSSB Municipal Engineer Recruitment 2026: The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has released the GSSSB Municipal Engineer Recruitment 2026 Notification for the post of Municipal Engineer, Class-3 under the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department, Government of Gujarat. This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for Civil Engineering graduates seeking a government job in the Gujarat state government sector.

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Technology from a recognized university/institution, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. | Basic knowledge of Computer Applications as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. | Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both.

Selected candidates will initially be appointed on a fixed monthly pay of ₹49,600 for the first five years. After five years of satisfactory service, candidates will be placed in the regular 7th Pay Commission pay scale of ₹39,900 to ₹1,26,600 (Level-7) , subject to conditions laid down in the relevant government resolutions.

1. Total questions: 210 (90 in Part-A, 120 in Part-B)
2. Total duration: 3 hours (180 minutes), combined for both parts
3. Negative marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer
4. Minimum qualifying standard: 40% separately in both Part-A and Part-B
